Reuseum’s Successful Electronic Recycling Program

At Reuseum Educational, we are committed to promoting sustainability and responsible resource use. One of the ways we do this is through our efforts to reuse and repurpose old electronic devices. Last year, we were able to reuse and repurpose over 50,000 devices, diverting them from landfills and finding new uses for them. One of the key ways we were able to reuse and repurpose so many devices was through our electronic recycling program. Last year, Reuseum Educational had a hugely successful year in terms of promoting STEM education and hands-on learning for kids. Participating in workshops through the Reuseum Educational, many people know the classes and events Reuseum puts up in order to support STEM education throughout the community, but little do people know the mountains of printers, TVs, computers, and more Reuseum gets every year. Through an intricate system of sorting, dismantling, and reusing, Reuseum recycles, on average, 250,000 pounds of e-waste every year! Workshops will be suspended Until Further Notice

To all the friends of Reuseum Educational, We are mindful of everyone’s concerns about the Corona Virus in our community. Accordingly, Reuseum Educational has decided to suspend all classroom workshops until further notice. The Reuseum store will still be open during normal business hours and we will still be able to accept donations during those hours. Thanksgiving activities to do with the kids!

Thanksgiving is right around the corner all with turkey, mashed potatoes, and no school for the kids!
