Swap Meet, 4/18/2010

There have been more than few suggestions from our clientele in regards to an opportunity for them to organize a community yard sale . So to enable that purpose, we are beginning what might be a fine new tradition every third Sunday of the month, a good old fashioned swap meet starting 7am-11am, on April 18th, and continuing through out the summer. We hope to benefit our numerous tinkers, hams, pack rats, hobbyists, and habitual collectors and casual fans and let them trade goodies, and generally encourage them to come together to show and discuss their sweet hoards of relics not unlike our own eclectic inventory. We’ll open the store early as well, hopefully someone will remember to remind me to get coffee and donuts, because a swap meet isn’t real and true unless you have unhealthy snack food.  At least that’s what I’ve been told. So if you have some thing you would like to bring, don’t be shy, come out and see who thinks its awesome.

Everyone expecting to trade and bring stuff should bring a table and chairs.  Thanks to our cool neighbors, parking on the entire block is acceptable, we will have the storefront sectioned off for tables and things.

If you have any questions, feel free to email Dave via the contact form here on the site.

Cheers!
